Project Engineer for SPAIN

Role Objective :

We are looking for a Project Engineer who wants to join our Headquarters in Vitoria, SPAIN and support the development of project plans in collaboration with the Project Director and the Engineering Manager.

Location: Vitoria, Spain

Your responsibilities will include :

• Development of project plans , including objectives, scope, budget, schedule, required resources, and identified risks.
• Communication with multidisciplinary engineering teams , configuring tasks and ensuring effective collaboration.
• Management of the project scope , ensuring compliance with client requirements and addressing any changes or deviations that arise during the project development.
• Support in project cost control , budget preparation, identification of deviations, and assisting in corrective measures.
• Ensuring project schedule compliance , identifying key milestones, and making sure deadlines are met.
• Guarantee that the project meets quality standards specified by the client and applicable regulations.
• Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks associated with the project.
• Maintaining clear and regular communication with all stakeholders.
• In coordination with the expediting manager, buyers, and QC , participate in the activation of supplier work related to the project to achieve partial goals in terms of price, quality, and delivery times.
• Keep the ERP system updated with the status of project activities.

Experience :

• At least 6 years of experience as a project engineer in companies developing industrial projects in the Oil & Gas engineering sector.
• Experience managing work teams in multi-project environments .
• Excellent skills in scheduling and project planning .
• Risk management and plan development expertise.

Education :

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering , or a related field.
• Knowledge and additional training in planning and management of engineering projects.
• Advanced level of English (minimum B2 level).
