Product Owner - Access Control and Building Security Platform

Why This Job Is Exciting As the Solution Owner for our Access Control and Building Security Platform, you will work closely with engineering teams to design, specify, and deliver advanced biometric and security features. You'll translate requirements into clear technical deliverables, guide development, and ensure smooth integration of hardware, software, and biometric technologies.

Your first challenge will be deploying the solution in our Headquarters — set to become the most biometric-enabled building in the world (MBB) — giving you the chance to validate, optimize, and fine-tune the system in a real-world, high-profile environment from day one.

In your first months, you'll explore...

• Familiarize yourself with the basic concepts and principles of biometrics
• Get familiar with the Access Control and Building Security Platform (ACBSP) solution
• Learn about the MBB project and the planned integrations
• Understand the team's workflow and processes
• Build relationships with engineering teams especially with the Solution Team and Video Processing Platform Team
• Prepare initial ideas, epics, and user stories

As you settle into the role, you'll start contributing by...

• Contribute to solution development in alignment with product strategy
• Translate strategic goals into actionable, prioritized product initiatives
• Lead planning and design of smaller features, ensuring feasibility and design alignment
• Collaborate with the Project teams to define and break down MBB project and integration requirements into clear, manageable product increments
• Facilitate communication between teams and support sprint planning and backlog grooming

Within your first year, you'll have the opportunity to...

• Lead major product initiatives and shape solution long-term strategy
• Drive feature development across multiple engineering streams and coordinate cross-team dependencies
• Deepen stakeholder partnerships and improve feedback and delivery processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role
• Strong technical background and understanding of software architecture
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Experience designing and managing complex product features
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinker with a data-informed mindset
