SAP FICO Lead Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Lead Consultant to drive the design and implementation of statutory and tax reporting solutions for EU countries using S/4HANA Central Finance as part of an accelerated S/4 transformation initiative.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops to define and validate Finance and Tax requirements for EU countries including PT, FR, IT, ES, and DE
• Design General Ledger-level reporting solutions tailored for S/4HANA Central Finance
• Configure FI modules, tax settings, ACDOCA/CDS views, Group Reporting, and SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC)
• Develop functional specifications, ensure quality during the build process, and oversee Unit, SIT, and UAT testing phases
• Define cutover strategies, support initial filings processes, and provide hypercare post-go-live
• Act as the central point of coordination, ensuring effective risk management and adherence to project scope

Requirements

• At least 3 S/4HANA projects completed, with Central Finance exposure being an asset
• Successful delivery of legal and tax reports for at least two of the following countries: PT, FR, IT, ES, DE
• Background in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) and the capability to customize country-specific packages
• Expertise in General Ledger, parallel ledgers, and tax configuration, along with knowledge of ACDOCA, CDS views, and Group Reporting
• Proficiency in reading and debugging ABAP, with familiarity with SLT, MDG mappings, and Fiori application navigation
• Outstanding communication skills in English and the ability to effectively lead workshops independently
