A well known brand in the strategy consulting world is expanding its presence on the Central Asian Market. For their growing operation in Kazakhstan, we are currently hiring for a senior expert in the strategy consulting field.

The Job:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join the team as Partner – Strategic Consulting, Technology & Transactions . This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned professional to take a key leadership role in building and expanding the presence in Kazakhstan and across Central Asia. The exact scope of the role will depend on your prior experience, network, and personal skills. You will be instrumental in driving business growth, establishing strong client relationships, and delivering high-impact projects

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Consulting, Technology, and Transactions practice in Kazakhstan
• Develop and implement business growth strategies for the region
• Build, maintain, and expand relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers
• Oversee the delivery of complex, high-value consulting projects
• Collaborate with regional and international teams to design and deliver integrated client solutions
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of projects through proactive business development
• Represent the Company at industry events and forums to enhance market presence
• Mentor and develop local consulting teams

The Candidate:

• Currently at Partner or Senior Director level in a top-tier consulting or professional services firm
• 15+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role
• Strong, well-established business network in Kazakhstan (Central Asia – an advantage)
• Proven track record of developing business and closing deals at the executive level
• Expertise in Metals & Mining , Oil & Gas , and/or Oilfield Services would be a big plus
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (Russian/Kazakh – a plus)
• Ability to lead cross-border teams and coordinate regional initiatives
