Warehouse Lead- Receiving/Transfers Outbound

Primary responsibilities include the supervision and ‘lead by example’ of the receipt of merchandise, through the counting, verifying, and receiving of truck and container loads.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the receiving of merchandise.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Supervise the receipt, sorting, and preparation of merchandise for storage.
• Responsible for the notification to purchasing department of any receipt of merchandise.
• Responsible for the timely flow of all receiving processes as directed.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
• Responsible for providing updates to supervisor regarding team performance, conduct, and behavior.
• Continual use of specialized equipment.
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Continual lifting, grasping, and using force with hands
• Must be able to lift 50lbs on a frequent basis, 25lbs on a continual basis and 65lbs on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to move from stationary position to bending, lifting, squatting, twisting, turning, and reaching positions on a continual basis.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• May be noisy and hot/cold at times.
• Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime as needed
• Employee will be responsible for operation and manipulation of cutting shears, chop saw, or radial arm saw and other company tools.
• Must be able to operate the forklift, Big Joe, motorized pallet jacks and hand pallet jacks
• Rolling ladders and step stools and banding equipment. Wrapping machine (if supplied).
• Must be comfortable with heights.
