Job Description:

The position is primarily responsible for the internal and external communications of BDO Foundation and compliance with the bank's brand image and corporate identity standards applied to all marketing and public relations channels.

Duties and responsibilities:

Communications

  1. Support the internal and external communications of BDO Foundation.
  2. Public relations: Generate public awareness of the foundation with the support of the PR consultant and MCG.
  3. Newsletter: Develop content, edit, and proofread the BDO Foundation newsletter for quarterly release. Oversee layout, publication, and distribution.
  4. Awards: Evaluate awards programs and assess their relevance to BDO Foundation. Prepare entries, nomination requirements, and other documents in coordination with MCG for submission to these award-giving bodies.
  5. Reports: Develop BDO Foundation content for the BDO Unibank annual reports, sustainability reports, good governance reports etc.
  6. Digital: Oversee content development for the BDO Foundation microsite, Facebook posts, and other online media outlets following standards set by MCG.
  7. Video production: Contribute to development videos in collaboration with partners and in coordination with MCG and external agencies
  8. Events management: Coordinate and cover internal and external events. Prepare project briefs, speeches, presentations, invitations, and other communications materials
  9. Correspondence: Respond to inquiries from internal or external parties on behalf of BDO Foundation
  10. Coordinate and participate in meetings and presentations as needed
  11. Data collection: Collect data pertaining to programs of BDO Foundation

Reportorial

  1. Monitor media exposures and reports to leadership
  2. Monitor all project-related correspondence, status reports and schedules.

Administrative

  1. Curate and maintain well-organized files and folders of all programs and projects
  2. Review needed documents
  3. Keep records of all marketing communications materials.

Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing or business.
  • At least 5 years of experience in communications
  • Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas.
