Customs Clearance Manager

Chery Indonesia is the local subsidiary of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese automotive company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of passenger vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all import/export activities comply with local and international customs regulations.
• Oversee timely clearance of shipments to prevent delays and demurrage.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and warehouse teams for shipment planning.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding customs status and documentation.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to customs non-compliance and manage customs-related costs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role or 1 year in a managerial role in export-import (EXIM).
• Strong knowledge of regulations and procedures related to international trade.
• Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
