We are recruiting on behalf of an retail company that is revolutionizing value retail by

offering high-quality essential products. They are seeking an experienced Category Manager to

be the champion of their fresh food offerings and ensure customers get the highest quality

fruits, vegetables, and perishable goods at unbeatable prices.

Responsibilities:

• Source fresh produce from reliable farmers and suppliers, building relationships that

ensure consistent quality while negotiating prices that benefit our customers

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that balance cost savings, quality

standards, and consistent supply

• Work closely with store operations to optimize product display, rotation, and staff

training on handling perishable goods

• Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust your product mix and pricing strategy to

maximize profitability and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in fresh produce procurement, category management, or

related role in retail or food service

• Knowledge of Philippine agricultural seasons, produce varieties, and supply chain

management for perishable goods

• Strong understanding of food safety standards and quality control for fresh products

• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers

• Data-driven decision-making skills with attention to both quality and cost factors

• Willingness to visit farms, markets, and distribution centers to inspect products firsthand

• Flexibility to work in our Distribution Center in Taytay Rizal and travel to supplier

locations when needed
