Main Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for a Quality and Compliance Specialist to join our Quality and Compliance team. This is a hands-on role supporting the delivery, maintenance, and improvement of Arriello’s Quality Management System (QMS), internal and external audit programmes, and compliance across all functional areas, particularly Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory services. Therefore an understanding of GxP, particularly Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP) is a prerequisite.
Location: Czechia, Romania or Croatia Remote
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System:
- Deliver day-to-day quality activities in line with our internal quality framework and applicable regulations.
- Draft, revise and manage quality documentation for both internal use and external client projects.
- Support colleagues across different departments in implementing and following quality processes.
Auditing:
- Support and carry out internal audits, external audits for clients, and audits of third-party vendors.
- Assist in the preparation, execution, and follow-up of audit activities.
Client Engagement:
- Review client documentation with a focus on accuracy and regulatory standards.
- Support quality and compliance projects on behalf of clients, under the direction of senior colleagues.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, ensuring a high standard of service.
Commercial Awareness:
- Understand the structure and pace of consultancy work, including accurate tracking of time spent on projects.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and wider industry contacts.
- Attend relevant industry events and conferences to grow knowledge and network.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels within Arriello.
- Work respectfully across cultures and communication styles.
- Recognise when to escalate concerns and do so in a constructive and timely manner.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience working in a regulated environment under a recognised quality management framework.
- A degree in a scientific or business discipline, with relevant experience in the life sciences sector.
- Experience supporting and conducting internal and external audits is an advantage.
- Sound understanding of GxP, particularly Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP) is a prerequisite.
- A clear understanding of quality regulations and guidelines applicable to the role.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Competence with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and other digital tools relevant to the role.
