Position Title: Supermarket Coordinator

Reports to: Operations Manager

Position Summary:

The Supermarket Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations across all departments of the store. This role involves coordinating between departments, monitoring store performance, managing schedules, and ensuring that customer service and operational standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily store operations and act as a central point of communication between departments.
• Monitor inventory levels, assist in restocking decisions, and coordinate with suppliers when needed.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed according to store standards and promotional guidelines.
• Support staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Handle urgent operational issues and escalate to the Store Manager when necessary.
• Assist in implementing health, safety, and hygiene regulations in all store areas.
• Collect feedback from customers and staff to improve store efficiency and service quality.
• Help train and guide new staff to understand store procedures and expectations.
• Assist in organizing merchandise and supporting warehouse management.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, supermarket operations, or team coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, POS systems).
• Flexibility to work on weekends and during peak retail periods.
• Language skills: English, French are preferred, Chinese is a plus

Work Environment:

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods and occasional lifting of goods.
