About The Role We are seeking a motivated and experienced Despatch Yard Leading Hand to join our team full-time at our Wangara client site. This hands-on role is vital to the smooth and efficient operation of our daily despatch activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily despatch operations
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of despatch spreadsheet
• Ensure accurate driver and fleet allocations in the transport management system
• Apply correct load restraint methods in line with compliance and safety methods
• Communicate effectively with the client, team members, drivers and other departments
• Assist drivers with vehicle loading and unloading
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment
• Work closely with our drivers and internal teams
• Complete morning hand over – including driver fatigue review
• Complete and enter load audits into ELRA
• Complete weekly equipment stock takes.
• Cover last-minute deliveries when and where required.
• Complete any yard tasks requested, which includes using the tug.
• Complete truck and trailer audits, with the requirement of completing minor repairs where required (example Carabiner clip replacement)

What You'll Bring

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• WA HR license or above
• Sound knowledge of load restraint and despatch compliance
• Ability to manage workflow and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a despatch, warehouse, or logistics environment
• Forklift license (highly desirable)
