Job Description:

Are you ready to take the reins of a complex manufacturing operation where efficiency, people leadership, and forward-thinking process improvement intersect? An established European player in the consumer goods manufacturing sector is seeking a driven individual to lead and evolve their production operations through strategic insight and hands-on excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate all production activities to ensure smooth operations, alignment with strategic priorities, and high-quality outputs.
  • Design and deploy action plans that improve productivity, reduce inefficiencies, and elevate team performance.
  • Oversee resource management , ensuring optimal use of people, equipment, and materials in line with operational goals.
  • Monitor key metrics such as energy usage, material consumption, waste, and throughput — and drive continuous improvement accordingly.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, quality, maintenance, and other support areas to remove bottlenecks and foster a culture of integrated excellence.
  • Steer maintenance practices to ensure equipment longevity and availability.
  • Promote and instill a mindset of continuous improvement across production teams, using best-practice tools and lean methodologies.
  • Contribute to investment planning and project execution , ensuring maximum return on operational upgrades.
  • Stay accountable for safety, hygiene, and environmental best practices within the manufacturing environment.
  • Lead reporting, monitor KPIs, and ensure transparency in decision-making.

Who You Are

You bring a strategic mind and a practical hands-on approach . You can spot inefficiencies before they become problems, and you know how to rally a team toward ambitious but achievable goals.

Must-Haves:

  • Higher education in Engineering, Industrial Management, Chemistry , or Business Administration .
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and solid command of MS Office tools .
  • Strong grasp of Quality & Safety systems in industrial settings.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (additional languages a plus).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in production or operations management in food or fast-moving consumer goods environments.
  • Background in multicultural team leadership and working within international environments .
