Job Description:

Our hiring partner, a globally recognized premium audio and lifestyle brand, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across the UGCIS region. This role is pivotal in expanding premium distribution channels, cultivating long-term partnerships, and reinforcing the brand’s positioning within the high-end consumer electronics and luxury lifestyle sectors.

You will work closely with developers, architects, interior designers, and smart home integrators to secure high-value projects, while also driving sales through channel partners and flagship retail experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new and existing business opportunities across the UGCIS region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, interior designers, architects, and smart home integrators to drive brand specification in luxury projects
  • Collaborate with third-party solution providers (e.g., Lutron, KNX, control system partners) to generate project-based leads
  • Support retail stores with clienteling strategies to enhance the customer base and increase repeat purchases
  • Leverage CRM tools to reactivate dormant clients and create targeted offers
  • Drive performance for mono-brand and multi-brand partners, ensuring elevated brand representation
  • Recruit and onboard new channel partners aligned with brand values
  • Ensure all partners deliver exceptional customer experiences in line with brand standards
  • Lead, mentor, and manage local sales teams where applicable
  • Take final responsibility for sales growth in the assigned region

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or key account management, preferably within luxury goods or premium consumer electronics
  • Strong understanding of home automation, AV integration, or smart living solutions (highly advantageous)
  • Experience in building strategic partnerships and achieving sales targets
  • Experience with channel development, distribution models, and retail operations in the premium segment
  • Deep knowledge of the UGCIS market and cultural nuances
  • Fluency in English (additional languages an advantage)
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for design, technology, and premium lifestyle experiences
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
  • Willingness to travel extensively for partner visits, events, and market development
