Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Fuel Distribution Systems Driver/Operator to support fuel distribution operations at our site in Kismayo, Somalia . This position is critical to maintaining fuel farm systems and transporting aviation, diesel, and mogas fuels to various operational points. The ideal candidate will have experience with fuel handling, preventive maintenance, and Class A CDL operations in remote or austere environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain aviation, diesel, and mogas fuels in bulk storage tanks.
• Perform usage calculations and initiate service orders for tank refills.
• Conduct fuel quality testing, including gravity and flashpoint analysis.
• Gauge tanks for water contamination, temperature, and fuel levels.
• Prepare and manage fuel receiving and shipping documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on terminal fuel systems.
• Operate fuel trucks to transport fuel from the fuel farm to Forward Arming and Refueling Points (FARP) or retail fuel sites.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in fuel distribution, transportation, or fuel system maintenance.
• Proficient in fuel system operations, fuel sampling, and logistics documentation.
• Strong understanding of safety standards, environmental compliance, and preventive maintenance.
• Physically capable of working in austere, remote environments.

Additional Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent.
• Must be eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC) .
• Must hold a valid U.S. Passport .
