Job Purpose
The Product Manager is part of the Digital Sales Transformation Team which has the mission to drive business growth by implementing smarter ways of working to better serve our clients using digital solutions and empowering our colleagues, distribution partners and clients.
The Product Manager is responsible to:
- Implement digital solutions that ultimately optimize the customer journey. All solutions are to be unified and harmonized to create an ecosystem of solutions
- Continuously optimize harmonize the systems across the value chain
- Leverage the system by driving sales and solve pain points by working closely together with our partners (internal / external)

- Activate an Omni-channel customer experience by digitally enabling our touchpoint strategy
- Solve customer and our pain points and needs by developing and deploying relevant digital products

The Digital Sales initially have an HEINEKEN scope focus. For our e-commerce solutions to remain viable on the long term, the aim should be to ultimately become outward looking and allow our products and services to be used by competitors and peers. This longer term outward looking approach is a fundamental criteria for a Product Manager to deliver successful solutions
Key Accountabilities
- Fundamental understanding of ERP and System: The Product Owner should have a deep understanding of the ERP system and related technical processes
- The Product Owner needs to possess a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the system and the underlying processes involved
- The Product Owner is responsible for providing training to distributor users on new features and changes in the product
- Distributor operation flow: The Product Owner should have knowledge of various distributor operations such as purchase order processing, sales order processing, master data management, inventory management, and sales routing
- System implementation for new distributors: The Product Owner is involved in implementing the system for new distributors who do not currently have the system in place
- System integration and process building: The Product Owner collaborates with stakeholders to integrate the system with other systems and builds processes based on operational requirements
- Product vision: The Product Owner creates and communicates a clear product vision, including requirements for new features and implementation to internal stakeholders and third parties
- Stakeholder management: The Product Owner gathers input from stakeholders, manages their expectations, and keeps them informed about product changes and developments
- Product demonstrations: The Product Owner conducts demonstrations to showcase new features or improvements to stakeholders
- Decision-making: The Product Owner makes timely and informed decisions regarding product priorities, scope changes, and development constraints after obtaining approval from the Digital Sales Transformation Manager
- Continuous improvement: The Product Owner actively seeks feedback from stakeholders, customers, and the development team to improve the product and development process
- Collaboration and communication: The Product Owner works closely with the development team and stakeholders to ensure effective communication, alignment, and collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle
- Product launch for new features and changes: The Product Owner plays a critical role in coordinating and facilitating the product launch for new features and changes
- These responsibilities highlight the multifaceted role of a Product Owner in driving product development, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction, and delivering successful product feature launches
