Job Description:
My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Service Delivery Director to join their growing technology team. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a major transformation programme, ensuring the successful delivery of all technology-related components.
This position serves as a key liaison between the transformation programme and Technology Operations, providing leadership, coordination, and strategic oversight to ensure that delivered solutions align with overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the seamless handover of technology components from project delivery into operational support, managing relationships with multiple technology partners.
- Collaborate with both technology and business stakeholders to shape and execute a long-term strategic vision for service delivery.
- Develop and implement scalable service delivery frameworks, incorporating best-in-class methodologies and industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across internal teams and third-party technology providers.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement by analysing performance data, embracing new technologies, and refining delivery processes.
- Lead and motivate the service delivery team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Identify and manage risks related to service delivery, ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant standards and frameworks.
- Define, monitor, and report on KPIs and SLAs to continuously improve service effectiveness.
- Oversee software delivery processes, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
- Establish and manage governance structures aligned with Agile, DevOps, and ITIL practices.
- Lead incident, problem, and change management activities across software services.
- Manage release schedules, ensuring clear and timely communication with stakeholders.
- Support wider organisational initiatives by taking on additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in service delivery management, ideally within large-scale ERP transformation programmes.
- Expertise in SAP landscape management including transport, release planning, and deployment strategies.
- Proficient in service management platforms such as ServiceNow.
- Experienced in developing and managing end-to-end service delivery frameworks.
- Knowledge of ITIL-based change and release management principles.
- Skilled in managing complex, multi-tier environments and interdependent systems.
- Familiar with automation tools for deployment and release management.
- Understanding of modern delivery methodologies including CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on exposure to platforms such as SAP S/4, SAP RISE, and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
