Associate Director, Information Technology Strategic Projects

Scope

The AD of IT Strategic Projects will oversee and manage the delivery of IT projects for Sands China Ltd. This is a hands-on technical role in providing strategic direction and active planning on system implementations and initiatives to IT executives and business owners.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, prioritize, execute, track, report on and communicate on designated IT strategic projects and programs
• Prepare IT strategic plan to accomplish company vision, mission and values
• Perform people management for the teams and manage team members to produce quality deliverables according to the SOPs and company directions
• Ensure all the processes used by the teams are compliant to IT audit requirements and IT projects and portfolio management guide
• Ensure all implementations are according to the ARB approved design and Sands Technology Standards
• Manage project financial and budget to ensure that proper financial forecast, cost effective solution and ROI are achieved
• Address escalated issues and facilitates timely resolution
• Abide to the company rules and regulations

Requirements

• Solid people and project management experience
• High degree of integrity and business ethics, and strong leadership competencies
• Excellent organizational skills to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Work independently and demonstrate initiative
• Outstanding subject articulation
• Strong communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
• High sense of urgency and quick adaptation to change; be able to work under pressure
• Knowledge of gaming, resort operations and multi-properties IT services
• Familiar with enterprise architecture, large platform, system integration, big data, mainframe, security products, and cloud technologies
• Familiar with IT processes, policies, and procedures
• Professional certification in project management
• Fluent English and either Cantonese or Mandarin
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or Technology related curriculum
