Job Summary / Purpose:
As Operations Manager, you will ensure smooth and compliant daily operations of the administration office by managing financial activities, administrative functions, and human resource processes. This includes overseeing budget execution, compliance reporting, HR management, procurement, logistics, and internal communications. Beyond traditional operations, you will contribute to the operationalization of new business units derived from initial investment pilots, supporting the conversion of advisory insights into fully functioning business services for investors.
By operating within a newly established business unit dedicated to attracting and supporting high-value investors, this individual will contribute by providing end-to-end advisory and operational services for business setup and investment facilitation in Cambodia. Operating within a strategic, high-growth environment, the role offers the opportunity to conduct transactional screening, investment profiling, and initial advisory business planning to facilitate seamless business setup and investment opportunities in Cambodia.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all financial operations including payments, reconciliation, budget tracking, and compliance reporting, to ensure transparency and regulatory adherence.
- Manage HR activities such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and record keeping in support of scaling new business units.
- Supervise administrative duties including procurement, logistics, office maintenance, and internal communications to support smooth daily operations and pilot projects.
- Coordinate external audit processes and ensure transparent financial and administrative reporting to management and committee members.
- Collaborate with senior advisory members on operationalizing new business units, managing multiple projects, and transitioning initial pilots into full-fledged services.
- Organize internal workshops, trainings, policy dissemination, and team-building initiatives that enhance operational capabilities for new business units.
Core Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial and administrative management roles, with proven ability to manage complex operations.
- Deep knowledge of financial regulatory compliance, strong analytical skills and personnel best practices.
- Fluent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in Khmer and/or Chinese is a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to manage complex administrative operations effectively.
