Job Description:

Warehouse Senior Specialist High Performer

Mid-Level Position in Global Business (Nairobi / Full-Time)

About Us

We are the leading healthcare supplier to the UNITED NATIONS and non-profit organizations worldwide. Honored as the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2023, we commit to doing business as a force for good. Our global team is united by a shared mission to improve healthcare. When you interact with someone from our team you feel the difference. We come from 40 countries across 5 continents and cherish a uniquely positive company culture.

Join us at our newly opened logistics hub in Nairobi, where your skills and dedication as a Kenyan citizen can make a powerful impact. If you're hands-on, adaptable, and ready to embrace challenges, we look forward to your application.

Why Work With Us?

  • A Unique Career Opportunity: Be part of our Africa operations from the ground up. This is a rare chance to shape the future of global health, while accelerating your professional development. Become a force of our mission: Healthcare from Africa to Africa
  • Exceptional Team: Work alongside highly skilled, motivated, and diverse colleagues who share a commitment to excellence. At AMEX we have an extraordinarily high talent density.
  • Team Spirit & Events: Enjoy a collaborative culture and amazing team-building activities. (Check out our LinkedIn page for a glimpse!)
  • Rewarding Performance: We recognize and reward top performance. Starting salary: KES 150,000 net per month with strong merit-based progression.

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for end-to-end warehouse operations in a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) environment. This includes managing GDP compliance , regulatory coordination with KRA/KPA/PPB , emergency response readiness , and high-volume kitting operations for NGO and donor-funded programs (e.g., UN, USAID, Global Fund).

This role is not just about moving boxes—it’s about building a warehouse of the future that responds to global emergencies with speed, precision, and purpose.

Why You Might Not Be the Right Fit

  • Initiative Required: If you prefer to only follow instructions, this is not the place for you. We need people who go beyond what is asked for.
  • High-Stakes Work: If you’re looking for a standard 9-to-5 job, you will struggle here. Our mission often involves responding to urgent health emergencies, where we literally save lives.
  • Open Communication: We value direct feedback at all levels, including senior management. If this makes you uncomfortable, AMEX will not be the right environment.

What We Expect From You

  • A proven ability to go the extra mile, see the big picture, and take initiative. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A strong academic record (BA/MA/PHD) and/or other notable achievements (e.g., excellence in sports, arts, or extracurricular activities).
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) – background in pharma/healthcare is a plus.
