Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales strategy, execution, and growth for our clients' portfolio (wellness and beauty brand). This role will oversee end-to-end sales operations — from planning and forecasting to driving revenue across multiple channels — ensuring that our client meets its sales targets and maintains its premium brand positioning.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG or beauty/wellness sales, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of growing brands in competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales plans across all channels (offline retail, online, distribution partners).
- Set sales targets, KPIs, and market share growth goals aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and develop new sales channels and distribution opportunities.
2. Channel & Account Management
- Build and manage relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and e-commerce platforms.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional deals to maximize profit margins.
- Monitor and ensure strong brand visibility and placement in retail spaces.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and manage a sales team (including account executives or sales reps).
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and skill development to ensure high performance.
- Foster a performance-driven culture while maintaining brand values.
4. Sales Operations & Performance Tracking
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets.
- Analyze sales data, identify trends, and prepare accurate sales forecasts.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align promotional campaigns with sales activities.
5. Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.
- Recommend adjustments to strategy to maintain competitive advantage.
- Provide actionable insights for product development and innovation.
