Vault Manager

Role Description

• Supervise and control all cash movements in and out of the Head Office vault.
• Ensure accurate counting, verification, and authentication of all incoming and outgoing cash.
• Maintain up-to-date records of vault balances, cash denominations, and transactions.
• Authorize and record all cash deliveries to and from branches, ATMs, and other bank locations.
• Implement and monitor dual control procedures for vault access and operations.
• Conduct daily vault cash balancing and reconciliation; investigate and resolve discrepancies immediately.
• Monitor cash levels to ensure optimal stock; initiate replenishments from the Central Bank or other authorized sources as required.
• Ensure compliance with AML/CFT, KYC, and transaction reporting requirements for large cash movements.
• Coordinate with security providers for safe transportation and delivery of cash consignments.
• Conduct periodic and surprise cash counts to verify accuracy and detect irregularities.
• Safeguard the vault keys, combinations, and related security devices in strict compliance with security protocols.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly vault position reports to management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Service and Communication
• Proficiency in Cash Handling and Inventory Management
• Strong Supervisory Skills
• Attention to detail and ability to adhere to security protocols
• Experience in the banking industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
