Manager - Supply Chain Engineering & Optimization - Logistics – APAC

Due to our business growth in APAC, we are seeking for a Manager in Supply Chain Engineering and Optimization to support our Commercial Logistics team for APAC. In this end-to-end logistics strategy for a successful development of the Commercial Partnership model in the region, the role will play a critical role in Due Dilligence and value creation proposition towards the client.

In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analysing and optimizing logistics and supply chain networks to ensure efficient, cost-effective and sustainable movement of goods. This role will involves leveraging data, technology and Engineering principles to improve transportation, warehousing and distribution systems.

The role is expected to work closely with key stakeholders in the client organization to understand clients’ requirements and pain points in order to use the trends and patterns in the data to enable the design of solutions that address these needs, improving processes and drive efficiencies while being sensitive to costs

Key Accountabilities

• Design Supply chain networks to optimize resource use and reduce costs
• Develop logistic strategies and models for transportation, warehousing, and distribution
• Conduct network modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate logistics performance under varying conditions
• Ability to structure and create logical analysis/process models that lead to plausible scenario models
• Process mapping and restructuring
• Ability to quickly identify constraints and areas for improvement within a client's supply chain.
• Propose plans for process optimization, cost reduction and improvement of overall supply chain performance, including sustainability improvements and concepts
• Facilitate client facing workshops related to Network Optimisation

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or in Business Analytics or Maths or equivalent
• Certificate in PMO will be a plus
• At least 6-8 years of relevant experience in Operations or analytics role in Logistics or Supply Chain
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, draw insights and make practical recommendations
• Excellent project management skills
• Knowledge of International Logistics and trade compliance
• Proven track record in Network Design, cost reduction and process improvement with the ability to ensure high standards of accuracy, quality and service delivery to meet and exceed client expectations
