Job Purpose:

Mission of this role is to contribute with the Digital department and mainly Digital Sales to ensure end to end verification and validation of all existing and new features, functionalities, and enhancements for AsiaMall and Digital Payment channels. You will work closely with technology team and vendor team for resolution of operational issues, creation of test scenarios, development and execution of test cases, analysis of test results, detection and documentation of defects, and validation of bug fixes. You will be working in a fast paced, collaborative Agile environment.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform various testing types and techniques such as exploratory, functional, black box, browser compatibility, usability, end-to-end, user acceptance and regression.
  • Develop and document test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical requirements, user stories and business use cases.
  • Create tests to identify software problems & analyze bugs and errors found during daily tests.
  • Maintain checklist of business-critical feature and perform sanity testing on daily basis.
  • Application and website exploration on daily basis to identify issues & problems and get them resolved.
  • Conduct user research to identify user needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Analyse user feedback and behavior to improve user experiences.
  • Collaborate with the brand team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital users.
  • Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback.
  • Research and compare similar competitor products.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing team to improve the traffic on AsiaMall from an SEO perspective.
  • Provide QA support for scheduled deployments/releases
  • Provide QA / Operational support for the issued related AsiaMall and Digital Payment operations.
  • Collaborate with technology team for the implementation of OE & improvement plans.
  • Inspect platform pages, product information & reviews, checkout options, and all other related system/processes to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes.

Academic qualifications & skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Degree in IT will be an added advantage
  • QA/testing tool training and certification
  • Experience in telecommunication or Digital services sector
  • E-commerce business
  • Sales Operations – Preferred
