Job Description:

Role Purpose

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Asset Management Officer to lead the strategic, financial, and operational performance of our real estate asset portfolio. The CAMO will oversee leasing strategy, portfolio optimization, facility and property management, and lifecycle planning for all operational assets — ensuring sustainable returns, high tenant satisfaction, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Strategy & Portfolio Performance

  • Develop and implement asset-specific business plans to optimize value and returns.
  • Establish and track financial and operational KPIs.
  • Recommend repositioning, refurbishment, or divestment strategies.

Leasing & Revenue Optimization

  • Oversee leasing strategies, rent optimization, and occupancy performance.
  • Approve major leasing transactions and negotiate with anchor tenants.
  • Monitor rent rolls, lease expiries, and market trends to maximize rental income.

Operator & Tenant Relationship Management

  • Manage third-party operators across various asset classes.
  • Maintain strong tenant relationships and ensure service delivery meets brand standards.
  • Address and resolve escalated tenant issues.

Facility & Property Management Oversight

  • Supervise FM and PM functions (in-house or outsourced).
  • Monitor maintenance, lifecycle capex, utilities, and operational costs.
  • Drive efficiency, sustainability, and ESG improvements.

Asset Performance & Budgeting

  • Prepare and oversee asset-level budgets and forecasts.
  • Optimize NOI, capex, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Finance on reporting, audits, and valuations.

Valuation & Exit Strategy Planning

  • Coordinate with valuers for asset assessments.
  • Develop exit strategies including sales, REIT structuring, and refinancing.

Team Leadership

  • Build and mentor a high-performing asset management team.
  • Foster collaboration across development, sales, finance, and legal teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years in real estate, including 5+ years in senior asset management leadership.
  • Proven experience managing diverse portfolios and third-party operators.
  • Expertise in leasing, FM/PM operations, real estate finance, and contract management.
