Role: Stores and Logistics Operative (SAP experience required)

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Hours: 37.5 per week

Type: Permanent, Onsite

Role Overview

Our client, a leading provider of aviation services supporting critical operations across Ireland and internationally, is seeking a dedicated Stores and Logistics Operative to join their team in Dublin.

Role and Responsibilities

The Stores and Logistics Operative will be involved in the following:

Receiving & Distribution:

  • Receive all orders related to SAR role equipment, medical equipment, and flight crew PPE into the Weston main stores.
  • Distribute items within Weston stores (SAR Stores, Medical Stores) or to required bases during transitions and startup.
  • Travel between base locations on a regular basis to co-ordinate the delivery, ship, replace and pick up items for servicing and distribution.
  • Communication for receiving, delivery and ordering through the Head of clinical services and the Technical Crew manager.

Inventory Management & Data Entry:

  • Accurately record and manage serial numbers and part numbers for equipment across 3 different locations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for tracking, servicing, and stock levels.

Shipping & Logistics:

  • Manage the shipping and receiving of personal PPE and role equipment for servicing, ensuring compliance with vendor-specific processes.
  • Handle Dangerous Goods (DG) shipping and receiving, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
  • Oversee packing, shipping, and distribution of SAR role equipment, Medical supplies and flight crew PPE to all bases.

Systems & Data Management:

  • RAMCO: Input and update data related to receiving, shipping, unserviceability, and ordering.
  • SAP: Work in conjunction with the procurement team to manage data for receiving shipping, unserviceability, and ordering.

Procurement & Consumables Management:

  • Process consumable orders based on requests from Base Clinical Leads, Head of Clinical Services, Technical Crew Manager, SE Coordinator, SE Maintainers, and Base Administrative Staff.
  • Assist in creating a catalogue system for consumables to streamline reordering.
  • Support the procurement team with vendor setup, research, order tracking, and delivery follow-ups.

Stock Control & Auditing:

  • Travel between the base locations for the Conduct of stocktakes for SAR role equipment, medical equipment and flight crew PPE across all locations. In conjunction with the crews.
  • This individual will help with the development of data input with tracking system “gear log”

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Experience in a logistics, warehouse, stores or inventory coordination role.
  • Experience using SAP for inventory and procurement functions, essential.
  • Familiarity with shipping, receiving and handling of store equipment.
  • Certification or training in Dangerous Goods Handling advantageous.
  • Forklift licence advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is essential for seamless collaboration
