Associate Operational Buyer

World Wide Technology Poland, has a very exciting opportunity available for an Associate Operational Buyer to join our friendly team based in Lodz, Poland.

The Associate Operational Buyer position resides within the Global Order Operations team and interacts directly with Inside Sales, Buyers and authorised suppliers. The role is responsible for processing and managing customer orders from placement to delivery cycle.

Role responsibilities & duties:

  • Daily review and assessment of purchase order reports to help ensure customer deliverables are met and our financial forecasts are accurate (including placed orders and backlog orders).
  • Process and manage customer orders from placement to delivery.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain ETAs for open orders and ensure all internal systems are up to date.
  • Initiate drop-ship process when notified that product has shipped to customer.
  • Responsible for creating RMA's (Return Material Authorisations) in Oracle for customers and vendors.
  • Manage and resolve issues with non-conforming or incorrect deliveries.
  • Develop a working knowledge of order entry to delivery process and of credit/return process.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal operations.
  • Responsible for creating daily reports.
  • Supports team members on daily activities.

Role requirements:

  • Able to convey ideas clearly and succinctly through verbal and written communication.
  • Effectively manages their time to deliver work efficiently.
  • Always applies a customer service mindset and strives to deliver customer delight.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • Customer Service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
  • Basic ability to understand and manipulate data from a variety of sources.
  • Basic familiarity with understanding of Supply/Demand.
  • Good command of the English language (oral and written).
