We are present in multiple jurisdictions and our compliance team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types based on the various services that our company offers. We are dedicated to collaborate with businesses, other functional units and regulatory bodies to develop and implement robust and customized risk management frameworks and measures to maintain the strong market competition in the financial industry.
The appointed professional will have the following key responsibilities:
• Ensures business is conducted in compliance with relevant laws, rules and regulations; Identifies and analyses business risks.
• Ensures that the system of internal controls are adequate to address and manage the risks within the organization; Prepares, reviews and maintains Compliance and Risk Management policies and procedures.
• Manages and leads the implementation of on-boarding of clients.
• Manages Client On-boarding and Termination of Business Relationship so as to control Risk.
• Handles and coordinates compliance on-going monitoring and transaction reviews.
• Assesses regulatory compliance policies and implementation thereof in Global Business.
• Assists the compliance department in the fund services namely the on-boarding and monitoring.
• Identifies and reports any non-compliance or suspicious activity, in accordance with anti-money laundering legislation and regulations in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
• University Degree from a recognised University in Law, Economics and/or Masters in Business Administration or a related field.
• ACAMs is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years' of Compliance experience in the financial services industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with excellence in project and time management.
• Pro-activeness, solution driven and ability to work under pressure.
• Team lead and collaboration is required.
• Excellent command of the English and French languages, both written and verbal. Knowledge of any additional languages will be considered an advantage.
