The Role
As the People Culture & HR Officer , you will be at the heart of our organization, shaping a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. You will champion a positive and inclusive culture, while overseeing the seamless delivery of all HR and administrative functions that keep our operations running smoothly. This role blends strategic people leadership with hands-on execution, making you a key driver of both employee experience and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
– Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings and candidate screening to interviews and hiring, followed by implementing effective onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new team members.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
– Act as the first point of contact for HR matters, promoting a positive work environment, addressing concerns with professionalism, and organizing initiatives to strengthen employee engagement.
- HR Policies & Compliance
– Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with local labor laws and regulations.
- Performance & Development
– Coordinate performance appraisal processes, support managers with performance reviews, and identify training needs to design relevant learning and development programs.
- Compensation & Benefits
– Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements, administer employee benefits, and respond to related queries.
- Office Management & Administration
– Oversee daily office operations, maintain a safe and organized workplace, manage supplies and procurement, coordinate vendor relationships, and ensure smooth facility upkeep.
- Executive & Departmental Support
– Provide administrative assistance to the executive team and departments, including preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Event & Meeting Coordination
– Organize company events, meetings, exhibitions, and other corporate activities to support business objectives and team cohesion.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration
– Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate clear communication and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR and office administration roles, preferably in a startup, young and dynamic environment.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations in Cyprus.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and if possible in HRIS systems.
- High level of confidentiality and ethical standards.
