Position Overview
The Cash Management Payment position is responsible for receiving, verifying, scheduling, and processing payment requests from various internal departments to ensure payments are made accurately and on time according to company procedures and schedules. This role involves close coordination with the Cash Management Coordinator, Finance team, and business units to ensure smooth financial operations while preventing risks such as double payments and fraud.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Scheduling
- Receive payment request documents from the Finance Department (AP, AR, Tax, Corporate Finance) and HRD.
- Verify the completeness of documents and ensure vendor bank account details match with the vendor master data in D365.
- Submit and schedule payments based on due dates, payment schedules, or request dates.
- Monitor outgoing bank account balances and prepare journal entries to transfer funds from incoming to outgoing accounts according to budget and payment needs.
2. Payment Processing
- Set up payment methods such as bank transfers, giro, or checks.
- Follow up on declined or failed payments and resubmit payment requests when necessary.
- Ensure all payment-related documents are archived and recorded properly.
3. Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Finance team, Strategic Business Units (SBUs), and Strategic Functional Units (SFUs) to ensure smooth payment processes and business operations.
4. Compliance & Corporate Culture
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations and prevent duplicate payments and fraud risks.
- Keep updated with and comply with company Policy, Process, Procedures, and Working Instructions (P3W) related to payments.
- Actively integrate Meratus core values into daily activities and team collaboration.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
On-Time Payment Release
- Urgent payments (TOP cash): 100% released within 1 day after receiving BKK.
- Non-overdue payments: 100% released within 7 days after due date.
- Overdue payments: 100% released within 7 days after receiving BKK.
- Payment re-processing after bank rejection: 100% released within 2 days.
Zero Double Payment
People Development
- Achieve training index of 30 hours per year.
Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance, specifically in cash management or payment processing.
Competency Requirements
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
