Your Mission as a Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, your mission is to drive business growth by promoting and selling technical solutions for rotating equipment systems. You will play a key role in connecting engineering expertise with customer needs, ensuring that offerings are perfectly matched to the demands of each project.

You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Sales Engineer

  • Conduct on-site visits to understand client requirements and promote tailored solutions involving rotating equipments.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles: from inquiry response and technical consultation to quotation preparation and deal closure.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with contractors, consultants, and procurement professionals.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams and external suppliers to guarantee accurate product selection and timely delivery.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Offer after-sales support and maintain client satisfaction in coordination with service teams.

Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Sales Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of proven experience in sales within the electromechanical field—preferably in pumps, piping, and HVAC systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of electromechanical systems and rotating equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client engagement abilities.
  • Familiarity with sectors such as commercial and hospitality projects.
  • Self-motivated, field-oriented, and capable of working independently to meet targets.

Additional Information

  • Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Frequent site visits required within the region.)
  • Location: Benghazi, Libya
