👩 💻👨 💻About You

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Consultant with fluency in Italian to join our team and support utility industry projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional expertise in SAP IS-U modules and the ability to communicate effectively with Italian-speaking stakeholders, ensuring smooth business process analysis, system configuration, and project delivery.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project managers to gather and analyse requirements.
• Configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U modules including:
• Device Management
• Customer Service
• Billing & Invoicing
• Meter Reading
• Energy Data Management
• Perform gap analysis and propose SAP-based solutions aligned with business needs.
• Participate in end-to-end project phases: blueprinting, realization, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Prepare functional specifications for developments, integrations, and enhancements.
• Provide post-implementation support, issue resolution, and user training.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Communicate project progress and issues in Italian to local stakeholders and management.

🛠️ Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on SAP IS-U functional consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of at least two IS-U process areas (Billing, Device Management, Customer Service, FICA, EDM).
• Proven experience in end-to-end SAP IS-U implementations or large-scale rollouts.
• Solid understanding of utilities industry processes (Electricity, Gas, Water).
• Ability to write functional documentation and design solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent in Italian (spoken & written) and proficient in English.

⭐ Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Utilities experience.
• Basic ABAP debugging skills to support technical discussions.
• Knowledge of integration with CRM, BW, and external meter data systems.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• SAP IS-U certification is a plus.
