Job Description:
Hays is seeking a dedicated Export Operations Specialist to support the export of critical medical devices, with a particular emphasis on cold chain logistics. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless, cost-efficient, and high-quality service delivery to our export markets.
Your Role
As an Export Operations Specialist, you will:
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and managing the full Order to Cash cycle to meet customer expectations.
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality within the supply chain.
- Oversee order management ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution, resolving any discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate transport, warehousing, and distribution for temperature-sensitive medical products, ensuring adherence to cold chain requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export regulations, Incoterms, and documentation to ensure compliance and reduce supply chain risks.
- Monitor and optimise costs, with a focus on cold chain logistics efficiency.
- Work closely with suppliers, logistics providers, and regulatory agencies to align strategies and execute supply chain initiatives.
- Track key performance indicators and contribute to ongoing operational improvements.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in supply chain management, ideally within export markets and the medical device sector.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport across teams and clients.
- Knowledge of cold chain logistics is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with export regulations and documentation requirements.
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience working with Oracle or comparable ERP systems.
- Language skills in English, French, and Arabic or Spanish would be a significant advantage
