Job Description:

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated broker, founded in Australia, offering traders access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-Time Onboarding & Client Portal Product Manager to join our team - a certified Great Place to Work ®.

The Onboarding & Client Portal Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to streamline the client onboarding process alongside their general account management / administration inside our Client Portal, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for new users. This includes optimising the user journey, enhancing conversion rates, and integrating with other systems while adhering to regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with various teams, such as compliance, engineering, sales and marketing, to achieve these goals.

Reporting to: Head of Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive onboarding strategy, underpinned by a strong Product Vision, clearly defined Outcomes (OKRs) and an aligned
  • Product Roadmap, which focuses on user experience, efficiency, conversion optimisation and retention
  • Analyse and improve the user experience throughout the onboarding process, from initial registration to account activation and beyond
  • Identify and address pain points in the onboarding funnel to increase the percentage of users who successfully complete the process
  • Ensure seamless integration with KYC/AML systems, payment gateways, and other relevant platforms
  • Work closely with engineering, compliance, sales, and other teams to ensure alignment and successful product delivery
  • Based on user feedback, business goals, identified outcomes and industry best practices, prioritise new features and enhancements for the onboarding process and Client Portal
  • Regularly assess and improve existing onboarding flows and processes to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Ensure that all onboarding processes comply with evolving global KYC/AML regulations and account processing requirements
  • Track key metrics, such as conversion rates, time to activation, and user satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on product progress, performance, and strategic shifts

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in product management, preferably within a Trading or Fintech environment
  • Strong understanding of the client onboarding process, including KYC/AML procedures, with a strong track record of driving and delivering positive business outcomes for a Global business
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to conduct market research, analyse data, and translate insights into product requirements
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
  • Ability to work with technical teams on product development, system integration, and platform architecture
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues within the onboarding process
  • Understanding of KYC/AML regulations within a highly regulated industry
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
  • Educated to at least degree level in a related field
