SQ Group of Companies is looking for Management Trainee Officer - Procurement

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Support the Material Take-Off (MTO) process by extracting material requirements from technical drawings and project documents.
  • Coordinate with the design and engineering team to identify and verify technical specifications of required components and materials.
  • Help prepare and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for procurement use.
  • Assist the procurement team in sourcing materials , collecting quotations, and ensuring timely delivery from approved vendors.
  • Support technical evaluation of supplier offers based on compliance with project and quality standards.
  • Maintain organized records of purchase requisitions, supplier communications , and relevant technical documentation.
  • Participate in vendor follow-ups to track order status, lead times, and material readiness for substation or transformer projects.
  • Attend internal training and development programs as part of the company’s structured MTO development path .

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Skills Required: Project Management, Teamwork, Technical Skills, Good communication skills, Problem solving and decision making, Good at Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

Experience Requirements

  • At most 4 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry),Group of Companies,Packaging Industry,Electric Wire/Cable
