Job Description / Responsibility

A Medical Tourism Manager oversees the operations and logistics of patients traveling internationally for medical care. This involves coordinating various aspects, such as travel arrangements, accommodation, appointments, and post-operative care, to ensure a smooth and positive experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities of a Medical Tourism Manager:

  • Patient Coordination: Managing all aspects of the patient's journey, from initial inquiry to post-treatment follow-up.
  • Hospital and Clinic Liaison: Building and maintaining relationships with hospitals and clinics in the designated destination.
  • Travel and Accommodation Arrangements: Organizing flights, transportation, and accommodation for patients and their companions.
  • Financial Management: Handling payments, insurance claims, and cost estimations.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Promoting medical tourism services and packages.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring high standards of care and patient satisfaction.
  • Legal and Ethical Compliance: Adhering to all relevant laws and regulations related to medical tourism.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding and respecting cultural differences of patients and healthcare providers.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with medical tourism.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Tracking key performance indicators and generating reports on medical tourism activities.
  • Building and Maintaining Relationships: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders in the medical tourism ecosystem.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Public Health
  • Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS)

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 10 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Embassies/Foreign Consulate,Consulting Firms,Audit Firms /Tax Consultant,Immigration and Education Consultancy Service,Financial Consultants
