For our Fire & Life Safety Team at Sofia Airport we are looking to appoint a:

Fire Safety Engineer

The Role:

Fire Safety Engineer manages and maintains all the documentation related to Fire Prevention at the airport as well as all the documentation and maps for evacuation of the buildings under the company’s responsibility; participates in the implementation of the airport fire prevention program, ensuring full compliance in daily work with national and international regulations applicable to buildings and airports; monitors the function of building fire & life safety systems to include but not limited to, fire detection and alerting systems, fire suppression systems and other fire safety equipment; promotes and coordinates with other organizational units future developments in the procedures regarding Fire Safety.

Your Profile:

• Fire Safety Engineer or Architect specialist in Fire Safety regulation and design
• 5+ years of experience in Fire Safety regulation, installation, and maintenance of fire extinguishing systems, fire detection systems, and elaboration of evacuation plans in public buildings
• Experience of interaction with Civil Protection authorities is desirable
• English, written and spoken at a proficiency level
• Project management skills, experience in transformation processes is an asset
• Analytical skills, self-organized, proactive
• Excellent communication, quick problem-solving, effective interaction with all company employees
