Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context: The Operations Incharge plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day catering operations. The role involves overseeing staff, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, managing event logistics, maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality, and ensuring client satisfaction across all events—on-site and off-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all catering events
  • Ensure timely setup and breakdown of service areas
  • Supervise staff, assign roles, and train team members
  • Manage logistics for food delivery, equipment, and staffing
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate stock replenishment
  • Liaise with vendors and third-party service providers
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and SOP compliance
  • Maintain event logs, incident reports, and operational checklists
  • Report daily activities and suggest improvements

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Diploma in Hotel Management
  • Bachelor’s or similar Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Skills Required: Management, Team Coordination, Kitchen Management, Quality Control Management, KITCHEN ADMINISTRATION, Should have capability to work under pressure, Hotel and Hospitality Management

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Event Management, Hotel, Restaurant, Catering, Fast Food Shop, Supply Chain

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in kitchen supervision within a professional catering or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, hygiene standards, kitchen operations, and team coordination.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to maintain quality and consistency under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Basic proficiency in POS systems, ERP software, or inventory management tools.
  • Excel or Data Analytics for Operations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask across events
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
