Houseman

Sago Palm Hotel is seeking a reliable and hardworking Houseman to join our hospitality team. The Houseman will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and lounges. Daily tasks include assisting with guest requests, delivering items to guest rooms, restocking housekeeping supplies, performing light maintenance duties, and supporting the housekeeping team as needed. Ensuring excellent guest experiences through prompt, courteous service is a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of ssigned area, including guest rooms and public spaces
• Make beds, change linens and help ensure a clean, welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping and sanitizing surfaces
• Replenish supplies and guest amenities as needed
• Inspect assigned areas for maintenance issues and report concerns promptly
• Support housekeeping team with timely delivery of linens and supplies
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks and special assignments efficiently.

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual and able to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to work flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Previous working experience in housekeeping or hospitality is an asset but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
