Research Technician

We are looking for a candidate for the role of

Research Technician

to support our efforts within the Cell & Molecular Biology Teams. You will have an outstanding chance to develop therapies using mechanisms of actions that conventional biopharma cannot reach.

  

Core responsibilities:

• Support and execute research tasks in the laboratory.
• Keep documentation up-to-date and participate in raw data presentation and initial raw data analysis.
• Support laboratory maintenance and management tasks (orders, deliveries, storage, etc.)
• Cell culture work (bacteria/yeast/insect/mammalian): cell cultivation, cryopreservation, cell modification with transformation/transfection/transduction.
• Work with Research Scientist colleagues in setting up/developing new assays and workflows.

Required qualifications:

• Degree in biology, chemistry, biomedical engineering, or other equivalent degree in a biomedical discipline, at least on a BSc-equivalent level or Laboratory Technician degree
• 2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in cell biology and/or molecular biology and protein science workflows.
• Experience with cloning and protein-evolution techniques.
• Experience with fluorescence-based assays.
• Experience with cell line generation.
• Experience with

in vitro

work on neuronal and immune cells.
