Job Description The individual in this role records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Compiles records from ordering, shipping, and receiving materials.
  • Updates information on computer to maintain inventory records.
  • Assesses stock supply and reorder status.
  • Prepares and verifies requisition of additional stock items, using the appropriate forms or systems.
  • Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
  • May provide training and work direction to other inventory control clerks.

Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience.

Must be able to follow procedures and train others. Requires accurate and efficient record keeping and verification of inventory changes. Knows inventory processes and procedures.
