Job Title: Foodservice Sales Representative
Location: Barbados (Candidates must currently reside in Barbados)
Salary: $2,000 USD / $4,000 BBD gross per month
Compensation Package: Base salary + Commission + Travel & Phone Allowance + Additional Benefits
Job Summary
We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Foodservice Sales Representative to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for promoting and selling our full range of products to both new and existing customers. Your mission: exceed sales targets, build strong relationships, and help us achieve our vision of being a leader in the foodservice industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local customers by answering inquiries and providing expert product advice.
- Secure and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor sales activity and inventory levels to ensure optimal product placement (e.g. shelves always stocked at 75%+).
- Track sales patterns, optimize product displays, and report on slow-moving items.
- Deliver exceptional customer service during delivery operations.
- Remove and report damaged goods; analyze loss trends.
- Maintain close communication with store and department managers to support customer needs.
- Gather customer feedback on product interest and provide insights to the Director.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and promote cross-selling through initiatives such as cold calling.
- Resolve customer concerns within authority or escalate to Director when necessary.
- Submit timely sales reports and logs of daily activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain thorough product knowledge and stay informed of new offerings.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Support additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

- Handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Provide daily feedback and submit weekly reports on time.
- Consistently adhere to company rules and standards.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree (required)
- Sales or Marketing Certification (an asset)
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in a similar sales role
- Valid driver’s license (1–3 years of driving experience)
- At least 3 months of merchandising and customer service experience
