Job Description:

  • Job Description Summary

Responsible for the activities related to Information Technology (IT) in the company, involving the definition, development, maintenance and operation of systems, as well as for maintaining the area's technological level up to date, conducting studies and implementing new procedures and techniques. Is responsible for the selection of hardware, software and supplies. Defines the Information Technology Director Plan, as well as company policies for centralization and/or decentralization of data processing.

• Receive explanations of the standard functions of the new system from vendors, etc., and accurately understand the functional details

• Compare the standard functions with current operations and analyze Fit/gap

• Identify and confirm issues related to gaps, and conduct interviews with relevant stakeholders

• Identify issues and inefficiencies in current business processes, and implement improvement proposals based on best practices from other companies in the industry

• Document the results of the Fit & Gap analysis and report to stakeholders

• Provide input support for the requirements definition phase

  • Knowledge of technical and on-site operational processes, as well as industry regulatory requirements, necessary for aviation MRO operations
  • Knowledge of core MRO operations (technical management, production management, inventory management, purchasing management, and on-site operations)
  • Experience in business analysis or requirements definition for IT system implementation or business reform
  • Experience in negotiation and coordination with vendors and business departments
  • Ability to understand standard functions and compare them with business processes
  • Technical and on-site practical experience in aviation engine MRO operations
  • Experience in implementing ERP packages (SAP, Oracle, IFS, Solumina, etc.)
  • Practical experience in Fit & Gap Analysis
  • Experience in business improvement or BPR across multiple industries
  • Skills in proposing business process improvements based on industry standards and best practices
