Job Description:

Summarize / Overview of the objective of the role:-

  • This role ensures end to end supply integrated planning with optimal production, inventory,

and service levels across a complex network of in-house facilities (and third-party partners).

  • Strong supply integrated planning ensuring automation system in planning in SAP S/4 Hana and understanding of planning challenges including shelf-life, high SKU counts, seasonality, and the need for agile coordination with external production partners when needed.
  • This role will play a key part in driving the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process,

ensuring optimal product availability, efficient inventory management, and seamless execution

of the supply chain.

Responsibilities :-

Supply Integrated Planning

  • Responsible for end-to-end Supply integrated Planning: develop and maintain rolling supply

plans that balance demand forecasts with internal and external production capacity, inventory

targets, material availability and service level goals.

  • Translate demand signals into actionable production plans – daily, weekly, monthly, account

for shelf-life, factoring in lead times, supply constraints and production flexibility in scheduling

production.

  • Optimize production plan including sequencing and batching to minimize changeovers and

increase line efficiency, considering variants, packaging formats, and SKUs to deliver best

service to all customers.

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels across multiple DCs while ensuring high service levels, inventory and cost efficiency.
  • Lead/champion Supply Review in S&OP process: delivering productivity across supply chain,

visibility to supply/ capacity constraints, risks, loss elimination and mitigation & preventive

plans.

  • Collaborate with Demand Planning, Commercial, and Finance teams: to drive alignment on

forecast, prepare and present supply integrated planning WHAT IF scenarios, capacity

analysis, risk assessments analysis and options enabling decision-making during monthly

S&OP meetings with multi-functions.

Inventory & Shelf-Life Management

  • Define and manage inventory policies on half yearly basis (or quarterly):

o Safety stock strategies, and replenishment parameters by product category, adjusted for

demand volatility and supply lead time.

o Optimal finished goods and raw & pack material inventory, minimizing both stockouts and

obsolescence and deliver best service, inventory and cost.

o Drive/ identify SKU rationalization on Quarterly basis, support new product launch and

Phase-in Phase-out (PIPO) planning to minimize inventory write-offs, and lifecycle

management from a supply chain perspective.

o Responsible on material (Raw & Pack) and finished good optimal inventory level across

multiple manufacturing plants.

Continuous Improvement/ Change Management

  • Maintain and improve planning master data for Supply Integrated Planning (MRP 1-4)

(e.g.,lead times, replenishment policies), timely discontinuation skus code deactivation from

SAP system to eliminate write-off of material.

  • Harmonization of materials across market to reduce skus count, leverage on MOQ and

eliminate write-off.

  • Drive automation, digitization, and standardization of planning processes and tools.

o Utilize ERP, MRP, contribute to the deployment and enhancement of planning systems (e.g.

S4 Hana) to streamline supply planning operations.

o Leverage tools like Excel, Power BI, KNIME systems to generate insights and drive continuous

improvement.

o Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for service failures, supply disruptions, and inventory

anomalies; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence (PDCA).

o Owned and measure KPI for capacity Utilization, Service level for international markets,

production fill rate to markets, stock cover, OOS Analysis, etc.

  • Provide coaching, support people growth through development plans, and guide career

planning to foster individual and team success.

  • The duties listed are not exhaustive and may be varied from time to time as dictated by the

changing needs of the Business and Organization. The post holder will be expected to

undertake other duties as appropriate and as requested by his/her manager.

Requirements:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or manufacturing planning, preferably in FMCG or food industry; with hands on experience managing co-packers or contract manufacturers
  • Skills with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRPII), Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and/or Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and/or Materials Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Service/Availability, New Product Introduction/Conversion & Inventory Management.
  • Loss Elimination, Value Stream Mapping, Work Process Improvement, Simplification.
