The Client:

One of the world’s largest food and beverage companies. As they continue to strengthen their supply chain presence across the MEA region, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales & Operations and Logistics Lead to take charge of end-to-end supply chain execution, with a strong focus on planning, collaboration, and operational excellence.

The Role:

As the Sales & Operations and Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the entire sales and operations process for the region, ensuring stock availability, enhancing customer service, and leading logistics strategy across the business unit. This high-impact role requires a strategic thinker with deep planning expertise, strong leadership skills, and a change-driven mindset. The key responsibilities would revolve around:

  • Definition and implementation of the strategy for demand planning/forecasting, customer service, import/export, warehousing, and local distribution.
  • Drive effectiveness and maturity of S&OP / S&OE processes across the business.
  • Deliver best-in-class performance across supply chain KPIs including CFR, OTIF, Forecast Accuracy, Cash, Cost, and Customer Excellence.
  • Foster collaboration across internal (Sales, Commercial, Finance) and external (Customers, Retailers, Vendors, 3PLs) stakeholders to drive supply chain efficiency.
  • Build engagement with external customers and drive improvements in customer excellence through regular feedback and KPI tracking.
  • Lead and challenge cross-functional teams to achieve operational efficiency in warehouse and logistics performance while continuously driving cost improvements.
  • Optimize supply planning processes and drive robust inventory management strategies.
  • Support Operations, Procurement, FSQ, Marketing, and R&D teams in executing BU initiatives and ensuring financial benefits are delivered on time.
  • Act as gatekeeper for category portfolio projects from the Operations perspective.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in planning roles.
  • Familiarity with complex, global organizational structures and matrix environments.
  • Experience in FMCG or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in change management and project leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in goal setting, performance management, and cultivating a culture of accountability and improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in leading diverse teams and developing talent.
  • Fluency in English and a self-driven attitude are essential.
