Job Description:

The ideal candidate will work closely with suppliers, logistics, and internal teams to align supply with demand, resolve issues, and implement automated replenishment strategies. Experience in retail or e-commerce environments is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

  • Analyze demand forecasts and lead supplier meetings to communicate expected demand, resolve issues, and ensure supply chain reliability in terms of delivery rate, on-time performance, and inventory levels.
  • Manage inventory processes and procurement for assigned suppliers and brands, focusing on optimizing in-stock rates, reducing inventory turnover days, and minimizing slow-moving or excess inventory.

Supplier and Vendor Collaboration:

  • Work directly with product teams, logistics teams, and suppliers to accelerate the clearance of promotional, seasonal, or aged inventory.
  • Develop and execute store-level forecasting for all distribution channels, including promotional items, special purchases, and modular products.

Order Fulfillment and Stock Optimization:

  • Partner with suppliers on order fulfillment strategies to ensure timely completion and collaborate with Distribution Centers (DCs) to maintain optimal inventory flow and reduce back-end stock.

Category Management and Strategy:

  • Participate in category reviews to identify opportunities and provide insights to improve productivity and Days on Hand (DOH).
  • Respond to store inquiries, including special requests and delivery issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

Digital and Automated Replenishment:

  • Lead the design and implementation of automated replenishment processes
  • Establish a digital monitoring system to enhance inventory management and drive supply chain efficiency.

Requirements

RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in inventory replenishment, supply chain planning, or similar roles in large retail or technology firms.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and related tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with fresh produce and/or e-commerce sectors is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Knowledge in SAP and/or replenishment system using Excel/Anaplan/Relex is an added advantage
  • Retail experience will be an added advantage
