Environmental Advisor - Uzbekistan

Goldwind, a trusted global strategic partner in clean energy, is seeking one Environmental Advisor for our wind farm construction project in Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan.

Key Responsibilities

■ Supporting the project managers in developing the project's environmental management system and plan;

■ Leading the task of getting environmental approvals to ensure the timely delivery of the project throughout the construction period;

■ Preparing environmental reports and documentation for regulatory submissions and project stakeholders;

■ Advising site managers and project delivery team, including subcontractors on environment-related duties and responsibilities;

■ Designing the project's environment management objectives and KPIs, continuously accessing its achievement and analyzing any deviation and design improvement plan if needed;

■ Organizing regular trainings and meetings with project execution teams to ensure that they are aware of their environment-related duties and responsiblities;

■ Attending meetings as required by the relevant stakeholders, such as client, subcontractors, bank, local government and represent Goldwind on environment-related topics;

■ Liasioning with local communities to addressing their environment-related concerns;

■ Carrying out regular inspection to ensure compliance and identify risks;

■ Maintaining records of inspection, audit and training;

Desirable Qualifications

■ Bachelor's Degree or above in Environmental Science or Engineering or related fields.

■ 7+ years experiences in a related field, preferably energy, infrastructure sectors.

■ Proficient in English, Uzbek and/or Russian.

■ Knowledgeable about nationl and local legislations about environment management.

■ Knowledgeable about international environment standards.

■ Proven record of projects financed by multilateral development banks (MDBs).

■ Strong understanding of construction processes.

■ Willingness to work in a site environment.
