About the Role

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. If you have a passion for numbers, a sharp eye for detail, and a drive to advance in your accounting career, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise and current financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide insights into the company's financial status.
  • Aid in the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial goals while identifying opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency enhancements.
  • Assist in both internal and external audit processes, offering documentation and analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support tax filings and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, interpreting data to guide strategic decision-making and support organizational objectives.
  • Identify areas for process enhancement within the accounting function and implement strategies to boost efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in an accounting or financial analysis role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a dedication to accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
